Times Higher Education (THE), một trong các tổ chức xếp hạng các trường đại học thế giới có uy tín vừa công bố kết quả xếp hạng các trường đại học thế giới năm 2015-2016 tại địa chỉ https://www.timeshighereducation.com/world-university-rankings/2016/world-ranking, dựa trên phân tích, đánh giá thành tích đạt được của các trường ở các nhiệm vụ cốt lõi là - - giảng dạy (teaching) , nghiên cứu khoa học (research), chuyển giao tri thức (knowledge transfer) và vị thế quốc tế(international outlook) được thể hiện cụ thể ở 5 nhóm tiêu chí với ứng với các trọng số dưới đây.
